Apparently today is the anniversary of the end of Middle Ages. I feel like in Poland the Middle Ages are just coming back to life :/ We will be tripping over brass duck monuments on every corner in no time :P Meh. I also feel like something's come to an end for me on a personal level and I still don't know how to deal with it. But I'll find my way, I always do :D

OTOH, it's Friday \o/ I'll be working the entire weekend but that's still work being done at home, so I can take breaks and maybe watch something, tease the birdies (they make it so easy :P), catch up on emails... I'm just looking forward to it despite the work part :D I also wanted to go to the movies to see the new version of Poltergeist but there are only 4 showings per day, either in the afternoon or in the evening = MEH. I like going to the cinema in the morning, so that I can be back home at around 2 pm. I'm just gonna wait for the blu-ray, LOL. I'm just curious what they did with the movie, the 1982 original is such a classic :D

Last but not least, today I have parted ways with my White Collar S2-S5 DVDs, they have been bravely collecting dust on my shelf and now they are on their way to a new loving home :P I did a bit of rearranging on that shelf to accommodate the Con-plete series box that I've received as a gift, so now it'll be the box collecting the dust, heee. Though I should probably at least watch the extras before the dust collecting starts :P It's just that with the iTunes eps, it's a lot easier to use these instead of going for the DVDs :P

But no need to worry, it's nothing all that major, just sad but nothing that will make me crumble or anything :) And hey, today I was home at 1 pm :D Sometimes it pays off to have a boss with panties permanently in a twist :P There was a document that simply could not wait to be delivered via the usual channel, so I said fine, I'll drag myself across the city and deliver it but I'm not coming back to the office :D

I'm now enjoying my salad for dinner (I don't feel like eating anything else) and I really feel good \o/ I'm just gonna cling to that :D

ETA: Oh, and I also went armageddon on the birdie cages and surroundings. The birdies are pissed but the cages are squeaky clean :D

Coming home early had another advantage, I could watch the next ep of Muhtesem Yuzyil - Magnificent Century from the very beginning, usually I only watch half of it after I get home, heee. It's a Turkish drama but ZOMG - harem and handsome boys in turbans, LOL! I bet Neal could rock a turban like no other :D :D :D :D

HOMG, yes, Peter would be like Bali Bey ♥ And Neal would either be part of the harem and Sultan's property, but so madly in love with Peter - and if anyone ever found out, they would both be killed (the submissive Neal scenario)

Or it would be Shehzade Neal (prince) insanely in love with Peter, again forbidden love but with submissive Peter :P

I knew there was a reason I am watching this, LOL :D

Poor birdies! Though somehow, me thinks they like the attention!! Even if, according to above comments, they're not so keen on clean cages!! *rolls eyes at their lack of appreciation for your hard work* :)

Yes, the birdies are always epic fun :D We go through the same thing every time I clean the cages, lots of screaming and flying and then general inspection and damage assessment :D :D :D I remember this thing my three yellow musketeers always did, if I took the cages out while the yellows were exploring another room and one would suddenly come back and find the cages missing, he would always fly back to the other room, there was always a brief tweet exchange and all three would zap back into the room with lightning speed... and demand explanation, LOL.

Sigh, I miss them, they were so adorable in being 100% inseparable :D

Just for the record, the comments here are absolute perfection in how everything leads back to WC and hugging Neal and Peter! LOL!!

I'll send extra *HUGGLES* to you, too, and hope that'll perhaps increase the option of Neal snuggles for all of us ;-)

I don't have the Con-pleat series, b/c I'd just so recently bought the 1st five seasons!, but hope you enjoy it muchly anyway. I really enjoyed the commentary on the finale, myself, and esp. when Jeff was just with Matt. I felt like he confirmed a lot of my thinking about some things there, too, even though I'm not sure he meant to! LOL!!

And that artwork... *loves*. Just so gorgeous, always.

White Collar seems to be the show that encourages hugging sprees, lol. The boys are simply too huggable, hee :D

As for the DVDs, the complete box only adds a nice wrapping, so it doesn't really matter if you have the individual sets or the box. I wouldn't have ordered it if I had to pay for it, lol :D

Aww, love the story about your birds. Once of my former neighbours had cats, and boy they made a scene when she cleaned their litterbox or dared to change the pillow in their sleeping area. But we all had a lot of fun with them, since they couldn't grasp what we were laughing about.

Hope that "end" will be a painless one and open the road to newer, brighter and better opportunities, be it in private or job life. As hard as endings can be, they always have some kind of renewal, restart in them.

And the artwork *dreamy sigh* one of my absolute favorite pics of Matty, and while it is downright gorgeous in the original, your talents turn it once again into a real work of art. Thanks for sharing!! Brava!!

Yeah, the birdies are just LOL on all levels. But sometimes it's truly striking how very much dependent they are on me... they always aim for the angry birds route but often end up in deep sh*t and it'sup to me to save the day, LOL :D
