Summary: It wasn't the first time Neal's cover's been blown but this time the bad guys didn't wait for an explanation before putting a bullet in his chest and dumping him in the middle of nowhere to die. Now, as the warm light of a new day caresses his face and a familiar voice calls out his name, Neal can't help but think that maybe this isn't the end after all.
A/N: This one is really whump-heavy, it's not like I haven't done GSWs before but somehow this particular image is almost too heavy even for me, heh. I just came across that one pic and I guess I'm unable to pass up any opportunity to try and manip our boys into another dire situation. I apologize in advance :P
