I have survived \o/

The transfer of doom is almost done. Yesterday I finished packing most of the stuff, I did the rest today and I'm officially dead to the world and not moving from my couch for the entire weekend :) I'm so very tired from moving all the stuff and packing the documents which are ridiculously heavy /o\

The new place is in a completely different part of the city, but it's not bad. The rooms are small but clean and modern.

The good things:
- peace and quiet, far away from all the power-hungry ass-kissers,
- the other unit grabbed seemingly better rooms on the first floor, but that means I no longer have to sit with them and I'm hoping to be seeing a lot less of them :P
- my room is small but more than enough for me, I already put there my furniture the way I wanted and it looks like it's gonna work out fine.

The bad things:
- my boss has the adjacent room and I'm worried she's gonna smoke like a chimney and I'm gonna have to inhale all that crap /o\ (but I'm hoping she's not gonna be there much, there are no lectures scheduled in that building :)
- the commute is gonna be a bit of a hassle :(
- there's no cafe or a convenience store or anything in that area where you can buy something to eat and drink.

Well, for now I'm just glad the worst part is over :D And I'm so looking forward to a whole weekend of catching up with my shows and doing lots of photoshopping :D

Hugs you tight! The week of doom is over and you can look forward to relaxing and rewatching SS76! And as many WC eps as you can manage!

I took a sick day today - was feeling all kinds of crap yesterday and had a hard time moving this morning, so I bit the bullet and called in.

Glad I did, if just to be able to get all of the posts for Round Two of the Reverse Big Bang scheduled! I know how much you're looking forward to that.

Thank you. I feel like the worst part is over, indeed :) Now I just have to finish unpacking... and dump as many stuff as possible into other rooms... I just want my necessary things there with me :D

And yay for RBB... I need to make two more prompts but I'm still waiting for inspiration to strike me, heeee :D And I recently followed your footsteps and scheduled all the entries for the H/C Advent. Thank you for tackling the RBB schedule :D

How is it ok for your boss to smoke indoors? Ó_Ò *has flashbacks to pre-smoking law days* That's pretty gnarly. You can't even smoke in front of public buildings here.

PS: Commute just means you get to start your morning with reading fanfiction on the bus! Haha. Well, no, commute sucks, but there are bright spots? Sometimes (not really)?

The building we got kicked out of was a 100% smoking-free zone... of course, people still smoked by open windows and such, but they had their own separate rooms and I was never affected by it.

Now we are sort of back to the arrangement from 2 years ago, no one is gonna care because we are the only people occupying the entire floor. And I really hate it that the door leading to her room is, well, in my room. I just know it that even if she closes the door, I'm still gonna get a smoke treatment /o\

But like I said, I'm also hoping it's gonna be like it was for the first six years... all the lectures were scheduled across town, so she had to go there and she was hardly ever in the office :P

It's just commonly accepted that you go outside, so most people just stopped smoking instead. And what about the asthmatics? Are they just left to stew? I'm confused. Also: It sucks.

I love the idea of your boss being stuck in traffic for a living, though. :P

You know, I guess it's a matter of attitude. There are a lot of anti-smokinglaws now in effect and a lot of people respect them but there are still those who don't give a shit.

And in that department building, there are those who go outside for smoke, but there are also those who consider themselves above it all and just smoke wherever they feel like.
