Awww, the last day of the meme and with a color that is definitely present in my life but once again all the white things around me are not really things I'd want to take pics of and write about, heee :D So, for the purpose of this post I went for a stroll in the city, grabbed a Starbucks treat and then took a pic of the city's probably most prominent white epic fail :D

The new Philharmonic building. Very white, very pointy and very WTF as far as its location goes. I know some people love it, I know it's even gotten rewards but I personally cannot understand how the hell something like that ended up in that part of the city.

There are many old buildings in that area, as you can see here, a nice old red brick building currently serving as police headquarters... old church, old cathedral not far away, remnans of centuries old city walls, the Castle of the Pomeranian Princes and now this white thing right in the middle of it, lol...

Le sigh... but it's still a nice panoramic view in that spot :D

We often have discussions like that in Dresden as well. There are people who only want historical buildings. Which I can understand but on the other hand we can't live in the past forever? I don't mind modern architecture when it is done nicely. But usually modern buildings are very square and boring and cheap.

If you don't want to end the meme yet, I'll be adding three more colors which I think are missing:

11 - grey

12 - silver

13 - golden

Wish I'd made it a 14 day challenge now! And those colours would have been great additions!!

I would have added 'multi-colour' to it if I'd thought of it in time!

Can't you still do it? Who is forbidding you to add more?
Multi-colour is also a nice idea - you mean like a rainbow?

Hopping over now to look at your pictures if you don't mind! (also, in case you did not see it - I intend to do the whole meme with just photographing my action figures. I've already sorted them by color. That will be fun! I need to wait yet for one to arrive though before I can start)

I think, a week after finishing, might not be a good time to add extra days, but I'm happy for people to add their own!

I was thinking patterned items as well as rainbows. I have a bowl with a blue, green, yellow, brown and cream pattern on it that would have been my choice! That may get used in other photo memes one day!

Feel free to go and look, that's fine with me!! And the action figure idea sounds great! :D

Hehe, I have absolutely nothing against modern architecture, I simply want people to use their brain when they decide where to put it :D

And great choice on the extra colors :D Though I have moved on to the next project now and it's making my brain hurt, LOL

It's an interesting piece of modern architecture, but in entirely the wrong location!! Still, it fits the white theme, that's for sure!! :D

You could always add an extra day for 'multi-colour'. I was going to do that as a bonus extra day, but then the day in question got swallowed up by RL :(

I don't think I have it in me to look for multicolor now, I'm struggling wth my next art thingy and it just refuses to cooperate, awww. But nonetheless I haz completed meme and it was awesome :D
