Hmmm, this one was tough. For some reason there's almost zero orange around me, hee. I was also trying to find something on my way home but came up with nothing. And for this reason I have to post the pic I've taken at work today :D

This is my tiny arrangement at work. I always keep a stash of scented tea lights in my drawer and I use one every day. I just like to have a tiny light burning, especially when the weather outside is very crappy (like today). The stash I'm currently using is not only orange in color but also has a citrus scent :D

Hee! I love the idea of using the candles to literally brighten your day -- and the smnell's gotta be appealing, too!

I'd say that totally counts as orange! Although I must admit that I am not a fan of any scents. I prefer candles without them.

The scent part is actually for practical reason. In the very rare ocassion when my boss actually comes into the office, she always ignores the no smoking policy. She's like a f****** chimney and the whole office stinks of cigarette smoke for days. I always have to wash all my clothes and wash my hair immediately after I get home because I stink all over /o\ So the candles are also to get rid of at least some of the stench.

Thankfully in our company it actually was the boss who installed the no smoking policy - long before it was official law. I remember when I got interviewed for the job he asked me if I smoked. I never had so had no problem there. But it was only over the years that I really learnt to appreciate the clean air. I guess I'm lucky like that.

Especially at Christmas when my co-workers also do scented candles, my throat often will hurt from them. Some less, some more. It depends.

Argh. That would make me want to have all kinds of "good smells" around, too. But they're still pretty, too :)

But seriously, re: your boss: EWWWWW!!

I'm a non-smoker, I hate smoke, I understand that other people smoke but I would really just appreciate if they did it away from me :)

Thankfully my boss coming to work really is a miracle, so I don't have to suffer too often :P

I'm right there with you. I always want to tell them that they're free to smoke, but I'm also free to gag ;-) I'm glad a lot of places here have forbidden it, but it's still around far more than I'd prefer.

LOL In this case, I suppose that's an especially good thing!!
