The ladybug on Peter's suit is without a doubt Neal :P Hence ->

the ladybug is the state insect for 6 states. New York's is the nine-spotted ladybug.. One my favorite children's rhyme is Ladybug, ladybug fly away home.... Ladybugs go after pests, always have them on the farm. I had fun googling ladybugs and www.gardeninsects.com is loaded with lots of interesting tidbits..
