Summary: Every year on Christmas Eve, for one night the magic grows stronger and the walls between two realms collapse... (or: Neal is trapped in a painting, it's up to Peter to find a way to free him :)

A/N: The Advent spree continues with my third manip :) There was much brainstorming and plotting going on around this pic and I think it's safe to say the story to go with it already has an outline :D I'll dig out my most glorious pom-poms to cheer during the writing process :P

A/N2: I deliverately left the pic quite large because it's actually two manips combined into one, the painting of Neal is pretty much a separate pic :P

A/N3: This fills the extraordinary square on my Gen Prompt Bingo card \o/

As usual, this is gorgeous. Love the fireplace. And the painting. He fits right in!

Neal trapped in a painting? That is definitely a story I look forward to read! Awesome idea.

John Barrowman and his sister Carole have been writing a fantasy book series for children called "Hollow Earth", where twins have special powers - they can paint something that then becomes real, and they also can hop into paintings. They can even time travel that way to old London for example. It's quite an interesting read and they are preparing to make a movie out of it at the moment.

I guess it will take a while yet till we get to see that one though. As we have learnt from Matt, making movies takes time :(

There was a Hollywood movie some years ago with the title "Multiplicity" where Michael Keaton cloned himself so the clones would help him with work. In the end there were four of them. It was a big desaster and very funny.

But yeah, in general I love actors who play double roles - with different takes (a good and a bad twin, for example).

LOL Obviously, the idea of two Matty's made us both go a bit off our rockers ;-) And yes, we need multiple Matty's on-screen simultaneously. I mean, *seriously*!!

And yes, I think Armageddon is a small price to pay for such amazing beauty and THUDs!! LOL!!

Beautiful artwork - I ♥ all the little details. There is a story here, who wanted Neal in the painting --- is someone trying to kidnap to another time? How will Peter get Neal back? I bet he only has twenty-four hours to figure it out or he will lose Neal forever.

Guh! This final version is absolutely stunning. The swirls of snow coming and the pops of magic light coming from the painting are perfect and make it very clear that something amazing is just about to happen.

I remember an episode of "Charmed" (early in the series) where we had a similiar plot. But there were also evil supernatural powers involved.

Heee, brain twins :D When I was posting it today, I once again thought of Charmed, I think it was episode 2x02 and Prue got zapped into the painting and she was stuck there with a demon or something :D

Hmmm, maybe I should consider a marathon of Charmed at some point :D
