Awww, CBS Europe is showing one of my favorite movies - Fly Away Home ♥ Yeah, I'm a softie when it comes to movies about birdies, especially when they are small and clumsy and so fluffy :P No doubt I'm gonna need a box of tissues stat (lol).

Of course, when I was in New York last year and got to spend half a day exploring Roosevelt Island, I couldn't help it and take this pic

I didn't see any geese when I was on Roosevelt Island. *sadface*

Awww, actually, the first time I was there two years ago, I didn't see any geese either. But last year we went around the whole island, we passed the closed hospital and right around that area there were so many geese, some were wandering around but a lot of them were lying in the shade with so many fluffy babies ♥

So cute!

Despite growing up in NY and just outside the city, I've only been to Roosevelt Island once. And, I didn't see any geese either. Woe is me.

Hmmm, maybe I just got lucky :D I mean, there's a lot of green there and maybe it's one of their favorite breeding spots or something, all the mommas and the babies were in one spot which was surrounded by a solid fence so that people wouldn't go anywhere near them :D Dads were, as usual, just wandering around aimlessly. Men :P

I have such a soft spot for the little ones :D I still remember a few years back when all the traffic was stopped at one of the city's main intersections because momma duck was leading 13 little ducklings towards the river. And she was crossing the street correctly, right where the crossing was :D

It's like a cuteness overload :D :D :D
