TGIF ♥
Oooh, I'm so happy that it's almost weekend. Almost because my day pretty much just started and I still have a few hours to go before I can invade Starbucks and head home. But I'm already looking forward to two days of fun, I have the remaining 4 prompts for my meme to tackle and a lot of episodes to catch up with :D
But first I have a WC question :D Can anyone remember any scenes with Peter looking adorably lost? Like Neal did something and Peter was all "I give up"? The only thing that comes to mind is the facepalm in Countermeasures when Neal called El, lol. But can you remember more moments like that? The adorable Neal-induced "why me?" moments?
Other than plotting my next art projects, I've also cought up with a few things and of course I have to comment on at least two shows.
Flash, ZOMG :D 2x14 was epic and left us with a new mystery. The thing I'm most happy about is that Harrison decided to stick around on our Earth because I seriously cannot imagine this show without him ♥ And while 2x15 has revealed a very confusing identity of ZOOM, the big ? from 2x14 is still there. Who is the man in the iron mask? At this point the only thing we know for sure is that it's not Leonardo DiCaprio :P Hmmmm... E2 Henry Allen maybe? I'm not really familiar with the comics and I haven't read any spoilers so I'm just guessing :D
And what's with the two Jays? Who was the one working with Caitlin? Clone? Another time traveller? Gaaah, well, they have still 8 eps left to explain, lol :D
I also started watching Legends of Tomorrow but I'm not thrilled with it, I enjoy the characters, especially the Prison Break team, lol, but the whole idea and execution has failed to get me 100% on board. I think I'm just gonna stick with my beloved Flash, hee :D
And then there were The X-Files. Honestly, I have such mixed feelings about it. On one hand it was so awesome to see Mulder and Scully back together after a decade, they still rock :D But the episodes themselves - I dunno, there was something off about them. Well, one ep was a total WTF and the remaining 5... the stories just failed to get me involved, they were kinda meh and there was this constant cracky vibe which IMHO didn't go well with the serious bits. I mean, either you make it cracky all the way or you keep it serious. And of course the conspiracy introduced in My Struggle and concluded in My Struggle II needs sooooooooo much more explanation, hee :D Hmmm, with the cliffie ending, are they planning on making more eps? I'd still be watching it but more out of sentiment than the actual storytelling :D
Oh, well :D
I also started watching the Kennedy thing with James Franco - 11.22.63, two eps in and I like it :D After the first episode I thought it was gonna be all about the main character slowly working his way up to complete his mission, but after the second ep I think maybe it will be something like a case of the week + a little bit of main mission progress. If yes, that kinda reminds me of Quantum Leap (awww moment) and it's just a bigger incentive to watch :D
Tomorrow we have another SC episode, which mean funnies ♥ :D They shall be posted right on schedule :D

King Shark didn't give me the same feels, but that was to be expected. I did love the Harry and Jesse dynamic, and how they both "abuse" Cisco. He's just born to be Wells-Bait (although officially, Jesse's last name is not Wells but Chambers).
I have a small commission for you. It involves Minions. And The Reverse Flash. Can we talk?
Also - Peter looked befuddled? How about the scene in Need to Know, when Neal says he didn't graduate high school.
And the scene in Pilot, when he goes downstairs and finds Neal on the couch with El, drinking coffee and petting Satchmo.
Or the scene in Vital Signs when Neal's drugged out of his gourd and confesses to Peter that he's the only one he trusts.
Or the scene in Under the Radar, when they are defusing the bomb.
Or the scene in Upper West Side Story when Peter finds Neal teaching a class.
(I can go on and on)

Can't think of anything for Peter that hasn't already been mentioned, sorry!

In The Portrait Neal flirts with a woman and Peter looks pretty exasperated. That's 10 minutes in.
He's pretty exasperated in 'Withdrawal' when he has to meet with Mozzie in his weird ways. Both 12 minutes and 46.
I think a really good one would be 'Copycat Caffrey' when they realized the person was copying Neal. It was about 5 minutes into it.
'What Happens In Burma' when Peter reluctantly shows Neal the jewels that the FBI confiscated. That's at about 14 minutes. Also in the same episode when Mozzie thanks Peter for the supplies to make the fake jewels - about 17 minutes in.
'Forging Bonds' when Peter told Neal what his nickname was before he knew his name - 8 minutes in.
Right at the end of the scene 17 minutes in 'Countermeasures' when Neal asks for the plates from the US treasury as well as the next scene.
'Power Play' 7 minutes in when Elizabeth makes Peter agree to Neal and Peter changing roles. Right at 10 minutes, then less than a minute later. 20 minutes in when Mozzie is teaching Peter to pickpocket. It's not Neal, but he's still pretty exasperated. God, it's so cute how Neal imitates him all through that episode - moving his hands like Peter, putting his hands on his hips instead of putting them in his pockets, trying to answer Peter's phone :-).
'Neighborhood Watch' at 22 minutes.
I'm sure there's many more, but that's all I have for now. I barely looked at season 3 and haven't looked at 4, 5, or 6 at all. I hope this helps!

I think "Legends of Tomorrow" is taking a bit of time to kind of find its footing/really draw us in. IMO, it's still sort of "setting up" some things, as much as anything. I'm going to hang with it, though, b/c it interests me just enough to keep going. Flash and Arrow (and Supergirl, too, in some ways, though maybe not quite as much, since the gist of her story is so well known) took a bit of time to really take off, too, in some ways, so I'm willing to give Legends a bit of time to really get me going, too. :-)
I haven't watched the 11/23/61 show yet, but I'll probably give it a go at some point. Some friends recommended the book a few years ago, and I bought it on my Kindle app... and haven't read it yet (school just almost killed my desire to read actual books for pleasure! :-P).
Can't wait to see what you come up with for Elr with Minions and Reverse Flash! Sounds awesome!! :-D
ETA: I forgot to add: Awwwww!! Quantum Leap. Always one of my favorites <3
