TV weekend :)

So, my long weekend is halfway over but I haven't been particularly productive :( Yesterday my evil bronchitis reached its peak so I haven't even left the bed. Today I feel better, I think the meds are doing their thing, but still all I could really muster was watch some TV :)


I'm still going strong with my House marathon, I made it to the end of season 5, lol. But I finally took a break and caught up on SPN and The Flash! OMG, The Flash, I think ep 2x12 is one of my favorites in the current season ♥ All those epic feels!!! Poor Harrison struggling with his decision, then the "betrayal" talk with Barry and finally both Harrison and the team making a choice - I think I died and went to heaven for a sec there, hee :D So much love ♥

Right now I'm watching Bridge of Spies, loving it so far ♥ But this still leaves me with so many eps to catch up with and movies to watch *le sigh* At least it's a good start :)

And, of course, Saturday is the Second Chance day but sadly, I haven't really seen the episode, well, unless you count fast-forwarding through it to locate all Tim scenes and then letting my PC do the caps :D Oh, well, I'll catch up at some point when I'm in the mood for it :D But this still doesn't stop me from posting some funnies because Tim is always epic \o/ :D

Sounds like you inherited my crappy sick time. I stayed home (my own decision) Thursday and Friday because I felt like dying and had fever but it didn't get any better over the weekend and went to see my doc the following Monday. She kept me home the entire week. \o/ You should totally do that! Nobody's going to thank you for hauling yourself to work when you're sick, after all. *hugs*

And hey, I have two fur monsters, one of whom is a certifiable psycho cat. He was of the opinion that mommy at home = PLAYTIME! I was lying in bed with high fever, pretty much comatose, and he literally jumped around on top of me because I wasn't paying attention to him. *headdesk*

So, I hear ya. *more hugs*

Yeah, even in sickness we are in sync, lol... I wanted to take 2 days off work so I called my boss today and asked her and she merrily told me that she will be at work tomorrow (miracles do happen, apparently, lol) but she will not cover for me, so of course I should take the days off but either go on a 3-day sick leave or take vacation days = notify HR. After all, she's been not coming to work only for a mere decade, so my brain shouldn't be coming up with such ridiculous ideas as 2 days off for myself :P

So... a week of sick leave for me, please, feel free to extend it to 10 days so that all the nice little deadlines I've been begging the boss to deal with expire in glorious email fireworks, LOL :D

It's very comfy here on the dark side :P
